Privacy Policy
This policy applies to L'atelier IA's web-based social publishing service and its connections to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other supported social platforms. It does not replace the separate privacy policy for the Wasted mobile application.
1. Who we are
L'atelier IA operates a self-hosted social publishing service used to connect authorized social accounts, prepare content, and publish or schedule that content. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to contact@latelieria.com.
2. Information we process
When a user chooses to connect a social account, we may process:
- basic account information returned by the platform, such as an account identifier, display name, username, and profile image;
- OAuth authorization data, including access and refresh tokens;
- media, captions, titles, descriptions, scheduling instructions, and other content the user submits for publication;
- publishing results, status information, and technical error logs needed to operate and secure the service.
We do not request social-platform passwords. Authentication takes place on the platform's own authorization page.
3. How we use information
We use this information only to authenticate authorized accounts, display connected channels, upload or publish user-selected content, schedule publications, retrieve publishing status, maintain security, and troubleshoot failures. We do not sell personal information or use connected-account data for advertising.
4. Authorization and user control
Connections are created only after the user grants permission through the relevant platform's OAuth consent screen. Users may disconnect a channel in the service and may also revoke access in their TikTok, Meta, or Google account settings. Revocation prevents future access but does not automatically remove content already published on a social platform.
5. Storage, retention, and security
The service is self-hosted on infrastructure controlled by L'atelier IA. OAuth tokens and operational data are stored with access controls and are retained only while needed to provide the connection, comply with applicable obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service. Connected-account credentials are removed or made unusable after disconnection, revocation, or an accepted deletion request, subject to necessary backup and security retention periods.
6. Service providers and platform sharing
Information is shared with TikTok, Meta, Google, and other selected social platforms only as necessary to authenticate the user and perform the requested publication. Limited information may also be processed by infrastructure providers necessary to host, secure, and deliver the service. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. International processing
Social platforms and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. Where required, we rely on the safeguards made available by those providers and applicable law.
8. Data access and deletion requests
Users may request access, correction, disconnection, or deletion of information held by L'atelier IA by emailing contact@latelieria.com. Please identify the connected platform and account handle. We may need to verify the request before acting. Users can separately delete published content directly on the applicable social platform.
9. Children's privacy
The service is not directed to children. Users must meet the minimum age and eligibility requirements of each connected social platform and applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, connected platforms, or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain available at this URL.
